So…we tried to make chicken wings. It’s unconventional. Not usually something that’s home cooked. Definitely not something that you want to experiment with and fail miserably :(
Here’s what you do… buy a pack of fresh chicken wings, soy sauce, brown sugar. Rest of the ingredients should be easily available in your kitchen.
Take a couple of finely chopped onions, 5-6 cloves of garlic, two teaspoons of brown sugar, a spoonful of honey and a couple of spoons of oil. Heat the oil in a pan for a couple of minutes, add the garlic and onions. Fry till golden brown. Add the brown sugar and honey. The onion will start to get caramalised and turn darker. After a couple of minutes, add the soy sauce heat some more. All of this needs to be done on medium heat, not high. Taste a bit of the brewing sauce. If it’s too sweet for you, add some more soy sauce or vice versa. All of the above shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes.
In a separate pan, heat a couple of spoons of oil. Add the chicken wings and fry them. The frying should keep on continuing till the meat is cooked – 15 to 20 minutes. Mix both the sauce and wings together, heat for 2-3 minutes and serve !
