So ... Temptation
It is a word which exceeds boundaries. It exceeds the known reach. It exceeds the desire to remain in control. It exceeds the will of a normal person. It is the lure of something which is unwise or something which may not necessarily be conducive. It is an urge to attain something now - which defies patience. The enticement of something you see - which you can just reach out and ... touch. Temptation - either subtle or strong, is still a test of self control.
More often than not - I resist the desire to indulge. But when I give in... I know no boundaries. It is the same as diving headfirst into the cake - without thought of any consequences. The motivation to resist may be available - however, frequently, I lack the discipline to keep to it.
