So…Princess came into my life in 2009, Speedy in 2017 & Naughty in 2018.
These siblings have almost the same age difference as I do with my younger sisters. Sometimes, I think of my sisters less as my sisters and more as my kids. I don’t see a lot of difference between them and Princess… guess it speaks volumes about their level of maturity :)
She changed my life for the good. My little little little bundle of joy ! Literally a bundle, coz the nurses’ at hospital wrap up the babies like a shwarma with only their faces uncovered. Must be such a constricting environment to not be able to move their arms, legs or torso :)
She was born from an elective C section, 12:06 on a Monday afternoon. I was in the OT, I saw her come out and I didn’t let her out of my sight for the next few minutes. They cleaned her, put a pipe into her throat to suction out her lungs…I even did a short video of her then, before the nurse asked me to stop ! I guess, it was probably too much. After she’d been wrapped up and shown to her Mum, I went down to give the news to my family.
And I cried. I don’t know why I cried. But I did. I don’t remember crying for a lot of things which changed my life drastically ! But for this, I did.
We got her home within the week, to start a new innings.
We didn't really sleep over the next few months. But they were the best sleepless months ever :)
